I’m an ST6 trainee in Vascular surgery in the West Midlands, and the VERN-Rouleaux Club representative. This role allows me to contribute to and support surveys and reviews of training for UK vascular trainees. This includes support for trainees bringing ideas to VERN for wider participation. I’ve recently returned from research at St George’s investigating subclinical neurological injury during endovascular aneurysm repair. Ongoing research interests include developing models and markers of intraoperative neurological damage during aortic and carotid surgery.
